What's Expected

(SIAS - The Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools)

Clergy governors working in a church school may be expected to be involved in the evaluation of Collective Worship and RE. This is an important responsibility - it relates to the ability of the school to meet inspection standards. The Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools provides a framework for this evaluation and the support to help schools meet their targets.

The emphasis in SIAS is very much on the impact of what the school does for pupils, not just on the opportunities that the school or church provides.
