Pathways through the resource
For Students:
- Try the ‘On Your Marks’ quiz first to get you going. This is a quick way of looking at your current knowledge base.
- If you have a specific content question, look under ‘Aspects’.
- ‘Resources’ will help you choose material and make links.
For Tutors:
- This resource can be used for individual or group work, e.g. students can be asked to do the quiz or study a topic area in their own time. Information and results can then be discussed in a group session.
- Students could be asked to have covered the material before starting a course.
- The ‘On Your Marks’ quiz can be used as a starting point for a discussion about the diversity of RE and Christianity.
- Topic information can be used as a checklist or starting point for the tutor’s own approach to the area.
- Students can be asked to prepare their own material to supplement the resource, or do a critique of the site to say what they find most and least useful, and what they would add or take away (an interesting way to evaluate their interpretation/understanding of the material).
