Lambeth Palace Library, Thursday 7th June 2007
The St Gabriel’s Symposium 2007 took place in June at Lambeth Palace by kind permission of the Archbishop of Canterbury and Dr Richard Palmer.
The speakers were chosen for their experience in engaging with the exceptional challenges that both religion and young people face today, especially in a world where tragic and disastrous clashes can occur that affect individuals, societies and cultures.
Speakers:
- Canon Dr Gavin Ashenden, Chaplain of Sussex University
- Dr Tina Beattie, Reader in Christian Studies at Roehampton University and writer
- Professor Keith Ward, previously Regius Professor of Divinity at Oxford
The event was chaired by John Keast, consultant on Religious Education to the DfES and St Gabriel’s Trustee.
