About the Leaders
Jane Chipperton
Jane Chipperton was Head of RE and Head of Year in a large Middle school in Bedfordshire, leaving her post after nineteen years of teaching to become Diocesan Adviser for Religious Education and Collective Worship in the St. Albans Diocese. She is based at the Diocesan Resource Centre in St Albans. Jane offers CPD on RE, Collective Worship, The Holocaust and SMSC throughout the Diocese. She works closely with resources in RE, offering advice for schools in all key stages.
Jane is a member of the RE Council and has worked with the National Society, training church school inspectors. She has been involved with national initiatives in RE and the new inspection of church schools.
