About the Leaders
Lesley Pollard

Lesley is the Curriculum Adviser for Religious Education in Northamptonshire and Rutland. She taught for seventeen years in Primary and Middle Schools and was an experienced R.E. and Key Stage Co-ordinator before taking up her current post.
Lesley organises and runs a wide variety of Inset courses for R.E. in all Key Stages and carries out school-based training and consultancy work. She also contributes regularly to National R.E. Training ventures and provides training for other counties across the country.
Lesley has been closely involved with national initiatives and developments in R.E. through working parties with QCA, looking at National Expectations, Monitoring the R.E. Curriculum and, latterly, the National Non-Statutory Framework for R.E.
Lesley is particularly concerned in raising standards in R.E. and in making it challenging, inclusive and fun for pupils and teachers alike!
