About the Leaders
Phil Leivers
For the last three years Phil has been School Improvement Adviser with curriculum responsibility for RE in Solihull LA, West Midlands. Prior to this he was Advisory Teacher for RE and Citizenship in Coventry LA.
Phil has been Head of RE Departments, and Humanities Faculties in secondary schools in Solihull and Wolverhampton. As a GCSE examiner he has worked on a number of different papers, including experience of being a team leader and Principal examiner with OCR. He is currently vice-chair of the Association of RE Inspectors, Advisors and Consultants (AREIAC) and sits on the executive of the National Association of Teachers of RE (NATRE).
