About the Leaders
Stephen Parker
Stephen Parker has 18 years' teaching experience across compulsory and post-compulsory sectors of education, including four years as an advisory teacher in R.E. He is currently head of Religious Studies in a sixth form college, teaching 'A' level Islam, Ethics and Philosophy of Religion, and a part-time lecturer and researcher in Religious Studies with the OU. He is particularly interested in religion and violence, the history of R.E., whole and hidden-curriculum issues in relation to R.E., and the impact of R.E. on students' and teachers' worldviews.
