Joe Jenkins
Joe Jenkins has taught RE in comprehensive schools in Rotherham, Helston. Cheltenham and Hereford. He wrote his first book RE textbook in 1987 and his latest books include 'Themes in RE', co-authored with Will Ord and 'Ethics and Religion' (2nd Edition 2003). In the early 1990's he directed Beat the Border's World Music and Culture Programme for Schools and in 1995 was appointed Research Fellow at the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland, where he co-authored, with Professor Suheil Bushrui, 'Man and Poet' a biography of the Lebanese poet and mystic KahliI Gibran. Joe is currently teaching Theology at Hereford Sixth Form College.
